Your ship is the green triangly thing on one of the planets. Click on a location to jump there. Then do some wheelin' and dealin' in the Trade window. Buy/Remove ship upgrades in the Shipyard. (Note: Not all planets have shipyards.)

I've moved the info panel and view buttons from the bottom of the game to the top.
